Seems to have been a while since a post of any substance has come from these hands. Not sure this is going to change that, but I did want to pop on to say 'hi'
Work has been its usual busy self, but school has been particularly cruel. All my fault. Fell a bit behind (a large bit) and have been playing catch-up. One of the large assignments was a lit review. Since me and writing don't agree (sooo stressful for me for some reason) it took a bit longer than it should have. Also reminded me why this Masters will be my highest degree. Just thinking of the dissertation requirement of the Doctoral program makes me nauseous. Add to this Lain's softball schedule, some parenting issues, and the normal financial stressors and you have the recipe for my daily life the past few months.
A couple positive things of late: a brand new 27" iMac on my desk at home (yummmmmmm) and the possibility of a new RPG group (find out next Monday). Getting my geek on hardcore...love it. I'd say the big missing component here is an influx of mix cds from friends (hint hint). May need to hit up AotM again and see if the new community has any of the old charm it had a few years back.
